Our parliament was closed for three days caused by NC’s national gathering of Discrict chair in Hatauda. Maximising the free time, we targeted to visit Jiri Technical School (JTS). On the way, we visited the Bhangeri, the birthplace of Puspalal and Gangalal. Now, the Ramechhap municipality is planning to develop that place as memorial park as historical touristic area. After that, we met some of the party activist in Manthali, Ramechhap.

 

Then, we continued to Jiri, where we arrived in the evening and accommodated in Zurich Hotel. Following morning first visited Sahid Smriti School, which is one of the five school run by sahid smriti foundation in Tarahara, Jiri, Kaski, Dang and Dipayal. Out of total 1500+ students, 252 are studying in Jiri.  Among them, the children studying in upper than grade four are war related victim and others are from extremely poor, Dalit and Victim of earthquake 2015. Altogether 122 staffs and teachers are engaged. Now after, merger of the two parties, what would be the future of those school and related people are the deep concern of them.

Then, we visited JTS, where almost 240 students are studying in agriculture, construction and health as junior student and diploma in engineering. Now more and more women are there specially in agriculture, which use to be male dominated previously.

After that we visited Tanka Jirel the chair of the village council to pay tribute to his father and condolence to family.

We departed from there about noon for Upper Tamakoshi Hydro project. On the way, we met some of the party cadres in Chairkot, then Kalika Pathak, the deputy chair of Kalinchock Village council. Then, we stoped at Bipu village council and have snacks together with chair and vice chair of that village council. Then, on the way we met elected leadership of Gaurishankar village council. Good thing is that the leadership of both village council joined upto Upper Tamakoshi in the evening.

The senior officers of the UTK presented the updated information about the project, which is expected the completion of it by the year 2075. It was planned to complete earlier. but cause by earthquake 2015, it has been postponed by two years and expenses as well increased to 49 billions from 35 billions of initial estimation.

Following morning, we went to visit project site and left for Kathmandu after breakfast. On the way back, we visited Dolakha Bhimsen, which was propagated by media time to time.  In the evening of 3rd day at 7 PM, we arrived back home.
