In the process, I had a meeting with NRN-Malaysia on June 9th afternoon in Nepali embassy. Most of them were worry about whether new constitution will be written within the extended one-year period. None of them raise the issues of dual citizenship rather how to protect migrant Nepali’s right and maximize remittance money in the field of employment generation, productive and safe area. It was major issue for them instead of citizenship.
The chair of the NRN-Malaysia has even handed over a position paper about migrant workers’ situation and step to be taken by Nepal government, which I have given to GEFONT as representing trade union, labor and employment section of national planning commission and fundamental right committee in CA, for the future action on the issues.
